DJ / Producer Diplo is a god to me! Everything he gets his hands on, I eat that shit up! Diplo hails from Philly, and is in control of the killer Mad Decent label. First I heard of this guy was on a Plastic Little (also from Philly) track, Now I Holler, which he produced. The song is an absolute BANGER!! From then on I was hooked. May I remind you of M.I.A.’s Piracy Funds Terrorism mixtape? Yeah, Diplo was behind that too (produced Paper Planes to, omg). This guy has some ridiculous remixes out there (more like a ton), and a lot of original shit that is straight brilliant. His sound is very hip hop, very urban, but also draws a lot of worldly influence from many different cultures, which I think is awesome! Diplo and the Mad Decent crew are all about having fun and partying. Who can’t love that? I feel the need to stress how insanely bounceable Diplo is.
