What comes out of Philly besides cheese steaks?

Dr. Dog.  Originally mistaken for a hip-hop group (Dr. Dre almost sued for infringement until he sobered up and saw it was two letters off), Dr. Dog is of the Indie rock denomination, musically speaking.  Described to be of the psychedelic influence (yes, that really is their picture), Dr. Dog first saw popularity when My Morning Jacket brought them on tour in ‘04.  They have since toured with Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, The Strokes, and The Black Keys (whom I particularly adore).

With their new album, Fate, dropping on July 22nd a few days away, enjoy three of their tracks from three of their albums:

Ain’t It Strange – Takers And Leavers

The Ark – Fate (New Album)

Worst Trip – We All Belong
